His technical background enables him to bridge the communications gap often experienced between IA professionals and systems/network engineers. His philosophy and the reason for founding Excentium, Inc. is that security has been considered a road block for too long. He believes that security, if integrated into every facet or your organization’s systems development lifecycle, can over time become a common sense way of life. |

Over ten years ago, Mr. Hefflin began acquiring the skills and experiences necessary to provide the high quality information assurance services that he offers to organizations today. His business and information assurance career has taken him from local government agencies to international corporations and now Department of Defense Military Health System. His extensive experience and professional credentials enables him to guide and lead organizations in developing IA best practices necessary for to the current regulatory and security risk landscape. Mr. Hefflin believes that the key to having a high performing organization of technologies and professionals lies with the seamless integration of cost effective risk management and regulatory compliance into daily operations. |
